On Tuesday, December 11, our offices hosted the first meeting of +Mujeres en UX (+Women in UX), an international and independent community of women whose purpose is to bring together monthly those women who want to learn, mentor, and share their experiences in User Experience.
+Mujeres en UX Argentina emerged from the enthusiasm of nine dreamers passionate about UX, with the aim of creating a space where both the protagonists and the audience members are women.
This first meeting featured service designer Mariana Salgado as a key speaker, who shared her experience working in the immigration sector within the Finnish government.
During the event, there was space for debate and exchange; for example, topics regarding formal and non-formal education in the UX field were addressed, and dynamics were conducted to gather community expectations. Finally, time was set aside for getting to know one another, building connections, and networking.
