In the 2023 "Best Places to Work for Women" ranking in Argentina, the global authority on workplace culture placed Baufest among the top eleven companies in the category of 251 to 1,000 employees.
GPTW, an international organization dedicated to assessing workplace culture, noted that companies included in this ranking stand out for their commitment to closing the gender gap in the workplace, ensuring equitable treatment for employees, and fostering equal opportunity.
"We are thrilled by what this recognition represents in terms of inclusion and equality within our company. We want to continue doing our part so that, year after year, the role and presence of women continue to grow across the IT industry and the broader labor market," stated Agustín Aráoz, Chief People Officer at Baufest.
Over recent decades, women's participation in Argentina's labor market has grown significantly. However, their employment rate remains lower than that of men, even though women represent half of the country's population.
To determine this year's ranking, GPTW surveyed 38,652 employees across 250 participating companies. The methodology evaluated female employees' trust-based experiences and their ability to reach their full human potential regardless of their role or position within the organization.
The assessment also factored in female employees' daily experiences regarding how core values are lived within the company, opportunities to contribute new ideas, and the day-to-day effectiveness of leadership.
