All Aboard: an inclusive travel app

The client needed a strategic partner to develop a trip booking application primarily for passengers traveling to medical appointments. One of the main goals was to meet WCAG AA accessibility standards and obtain Deque's VPAT certification while ensuring a simple, intuitive, and inclusive user experience.

Our Customer Experience team, together with certified accessibility specialists, collaborated with the development team to design and implement an experience aligned with WCAG AA guidelines. We optimized elements such as color contrast, navigation, interactions, and accessibility features, supported by the necessary technical improvements. In addition, we conducted usability testing with Tiflonexos, an organization that promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities. The feedback gathered helped refine user journeys and incorporate new accessibility-focused features, resulting in a more inclusive, intuitive, and user-friendly application.
